The Spanish multinational Elecnor in the electricity and telecommunications sector will hire 15 fifth year students from the Othoca technical institute in Oristano after attending the certified training course "Multiprofile Basic Course".

The beautiful and important news came during a meeting organized in the lecture hall of the institute with the aim of bringing students of the fifth classes closer to the world of work.

The event was attended by students from the courses of mechanics, electrotechnics, information technology and electronics, the latter from the branch in Ales.

The "Multiprofile Basic Course" is in fact aimed at acquiring the basic skills necessary to access, after passing an exam, the qualifying specialist course and obtaining a certified qualification to work in contractors that perform work on electrical systems by Enel. The course includes 80 hours of lessons that will be provided by the Agorà Training Institute.

"At the end of the final exam - underlines the head teacher Franco Frongia - the fifteen students will attend a 40-hour summer internship and after passing the final test they will be hired by the multinational in its branches operating in Sardinia". - Frongia highlights - an immediate insertion into the world of work in sectors strictly connected to the exit profiles of the students of Itis Othoca. The procurement unit of Enel Italia, as promoter of initiatives aimed at promoting the connection between school and work and to raise the skills and preparation of young people and placement in work, supports companies by helping to facilitate contacts with technical institutes, making available experience, tools and skills in particular on the subject of job safety.
