The appointment is official, but no surprise. After days of anticipation and some tension within the majority, the green light has arrived: Paolo Angioi is the new Councilor for Urban Planning for the Municipality of Oristano. The decree was signed by Mayor Massimiliano Sanna, effectively closing the loop on the executive branch.

The appointment had already been widely heralded, but was postponed for a few days. In the background, some discontent erupted after the 20Venti group had written down some political priorities to be shared at the majority table. This move didn't sit well with the allies, particularly Forza Italia, and sparked a brief but visible standoff.

Once the impasse was resolved, the appointment was made without further delay. Angioi, 39, a dentist and already an active member of the Council, takes on significant responsibilities: urban planning, land conservation, residential construction, civic uses, energy, roads, transportation, parking, and heritage. This is a key package for the city's administrative balance and development prospects.

With this transition, the Sanna Council returns to full strength after the departure of Carmen Murru, immediately replaced by Giulia Murgia, and Ivano Cuccu.
