Saras has announced a solidarity initiative to help Sardinian citizens and businesses, aimed at limiting the impact of the high costs of petroleum products.

"The initiative," explains a company statement, " affects the cost of fuel delivered to the island from the Sarroch refinery for road, agricultural, and fishing transport. It will allow independent service stations to offer the public the best rates offered by the main market operators, and our long-standing partners to offer a discount on fuel for heavy road, agricultural, and fishing transport operators."

The discount will be applied immediately and will remain in effect until October 31st.
