The heating is not working and the “alternatives” identified to raise the temperature in the classrooms have not given the desired result. For this reason, the mayor, Massimiliano Sanna, yesterday signed an ordinance with which he orders the temporary closure of the “Grazia Deledda” middle school housed in the former Frassinetti institute.

"The decision was made following a report from the school principal, Blanche Marie Rita Sanna, due to a malfunctioning heating system," reads a note from the municipal offices. " The technical staff of the Municipality, after having verified the problem, worked on alternative solutions to heat the building anyway, but the attempts made did not give good results ."

Hence the decision to sign the closure order to protect children and staff, awaiting the arrival of the spare part needed to repair the system and restore optimal conditions for heating the school.
