They named him Audi , just like the brand of the car he got stuck in . A happy ending for a cat , saved thanks to the intervention of the ASL veterinary service, the fire brigade and the municipal police .

The small black feline had taken refuge in the engine compartment of a car parked on Via Carducci. Yesterday morning, attracted by the meowing, some passers-by raised the alarm.

"It took us about 40 minutes of intervention to save him," says Elisabetta Pintore, from the stray prevention program. "He was very scared, so we used the sounds of a mother cat to lure him to a point where we could reach him."

Once recovered, the feline was subjected to some checks. "He was visibly dehydrated - adds the veterinarian - we immediately fed him, fortunately he is in good health conditions ".

The car owner's family also arrived on site: it is not clear whether the kitten was transported from Tonara, the town from which the vehicle had arrived on Sunday evening . Some residents, in fact, said they had heard the meowing during the night.

The puppy (a male of about a month and a half) is currently being hosted in the veterinary office of the ASL .

"Audi is looking for a family that will fill him with cuddles - concludes Elisabetta Pintore - Anyone who wants to adopt him can contact us at 3398741346".
