In Oristano a large fire broke out in the afternoon in via Rockefeller , close to the building where about twenty nomads live. Numerous fire brigade teams and municipal police officers intervened on site.

A large cloud of black smoke also rose next to the San Martino hospital.

Firefighters will now have to ascertain the origin of the fire. Traffic was blocked to allow rescuers to work.
