Oristano, 23-year-old cyclist hit by a car: it's serious
The young woman was on the road to Torre Grande: she hit her head, hospitalized in Brotzu
A 23-year-old girl from Cabras, in the Oristano area is hospitalized in the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari in serious condition, after being run over by a Golf while she was riding her bike on Provincial Road 1, between Oristano and the coast of Torre Grande .
The accident dates back to late Thursday afternoon: the girl was headed towards the seaside village, when the motorist, a twenty-three year old, ran over her.
In the collision, the girl fell violently hitting her head and suffering other traumas to various parts of her body. The young woman was transported from 118 to the Cagliari hospital where she is still hospitalized with a confidential prognosis, while the position of the driver is being examined by the carabinieri of the mobile radio section of the Oristano Company, who are conducting the investigations.
