Orgosolo, two hikers trapped in cave: complex recovery operations
One was extracted after hours, the fellow victim is still inside: he lost some teeth and suffered a head injury

Two hikers from Puglia were trapped in the Sullidu 'e Arzane cave, in the Orgosolo area.
The first was extracted around 4 pm and was transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro: he suffered an ankle injury. The conditions of his companion in misadventure are more critical, and his recovery is still ongoing.
It has already been confirmed that he lost some teeth and also suffered a head injury. The Alpine Rescue team and Echo Lima 1, the Areus helicopter based in Olbia, are on site.
Recovery operations have been ongoing for seven hours.
