Diagnostic tests may be ordered to determine what pathologies the one-year-old girl who died yesterday at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari was suffering from, where the little girl arrived in desperate conditions, despite the doctors' attempts to save her life.

The child, her parents reported, had been ill for a few days, apparently with vomiting and diarrhea. Yesterday her parents, residents of Quartu, loaded her into the car to take her to the emergency room, but during the trip her condition worsened. So the alarm was raised at 118 and the rush to the hospital, which unfortunately proved useless.
