Alessio Madeddu was not known in Teulada only for his restaurant, “Sabor'e Mari”, but also for some recent judicial vicissitudes.

In March, the 51-year-old was in fact sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison for attempted murder for attacking a police patrol using a bulldozer in November 2020.

Madeddu, having gone off the road with his van, was stopped by the military who had asked him to undergo an alcohol test. Then his license had been withdrawn and Madeddu had reacted with extreme violence, going to retrieve the bulldozer and then returning to the place and overturning the carabinieri's car.

On the scene of the crime also the soldiers of the Provincial Command of Cagliari and of the Carbonia company.
