Eleven fires broke out today in Sardinia, which caused 6 and a half hectares of land to go up in smoke .

The most difficult intervention in the Esporlatu countryside, where it took three forestry helicopters from the bases of Anela, Bosa and Sorgono to put out the flames. The fire covered 2 hectares of oak wood and 2 hectares of oak wooded pasture.

Another two hectares went up in smoke in Simaxis , where helicopters from the Fenosu base and the GAUF, Fire Use Analysis Group of the Oristano Forestry Corps operated.

Finally, the third and last fire that required the intervention of a helicopter in Tortolì , where half a hectare of orchards went up in smoke.
