On the Gennargentu the spectacle of the first snow

Snowy awakening for the Gennargentu . The first snow of the season fell during the night, over 1500 meters high , perfectly visible even from the towns of Desulo and Fonni . The tops of the mountains are in fact whitewashed and the first photos of the timid November snowfall are starting to circulate on the web.

Thanks to the low temperatures, yesterday in the late afternoon the snow began to fall in the high mountains , soon whitening the Bruncu Spina and other peaks. A thin layer of snow was therefore deposited over 1500 meters high, without causing any discomfort. Snow is indeed welcome, considering the drought that the mountains have also suffered from in recent months.

Also a year ago the first snowfall of the season was on November 29th. However, the heavy snow disturbance had created major problems for the towns of Gennargentu , some of which had been forced to go almost 40 hours without electricity.
