The writing is still there, even if the rain of recent days has faded the letters. On a sign installed on the Putzu Idu seafront, close to the bathrooms on the stretch of road, we read the phrase "San Vero = mafia" , words that are causing quite a bit of discussion these days.

Someone wrote this sentence on the signs indicating the work in progress for the construction of the cycle path . The news spread in the town almost immediately, the image of the sign was also posted on social media.

A serious episode that did not leave municipal administrators indifferent. In the meantime, mayor Luigi Tedeschi has reported the episode to the police at the local station . The cycle path, made of ecological concrete, goes from the roundabout in via Zinnigas to Mandriola. Between works, planning and safety costs , approximately 460 thousand euros were spent , financed with the resources of territorial planning, through the Union of Municipalities Costa del Sinis Terra dei Giganti.
