They made the entire long crossing of the Santa Barbara historical religious mining route. It is therefore a special award that the Municipality of Carbonia and the management of the institution have given to the five pilgrims capable of covering all the 500 kilometers of an itinerary that combines faith, nature and history. The award ceremony took place in Carbonia, where the assembly for the approval of the budget of the Cammino Santa Barbara Foundation was also held in the presence of the mayor Pietro Morittu and the president of the Giampiero Pinna Foundation.

Thus the most evocative ceremony took place at the end: the delivery to deserving pilgrims of the testimonium and stylized ceramic towers. The winners are Margherita Concu (Cagliari), Giovanni Casserà (Sarroch), Marie Luise Serra (Quartu S. Elena), Raimondo Dessì (Sarroch) and Simonetta Lenti (Sarroch).
