A very long night of faith, of hope, of asking for grace, with the 40th pilgrimage on foot from Sinnai to Bonaria.

The solemn mass shortly after midnight was concelebrated by the Archbishop of Cagliari, Giuseppe Baturi, in the church of Santa Barbara in Sinnai.

The program includes entry into the church of Santa Barbara at 10:30 PM, the arrival of the Bonaria torch at 12:10 AM, and the celebration of Mass at 12:15 AM. Then, around 1:30 AM, the pilgrimage will begin from the church square. A first short stop is also planned on the outskirts of town, where the pilgrims will pause for a few minutes in front of the niche of the Madonna .

Then the walk towards Bonaria through Settimo, Selargius (with a stop at 4:30 at the Salesians), Monserrato, Pirri and Bonaria where you will arrive around 8 in the morning.

Today the Bonaria torch arrived in Monserrato, then reached the entrance to the Quartucciu juvenile prison, then returned to Monserrato for the start, during the night, of the return journey to Sinnai, carried on foot by several athletes.

The event, organized by the “Il Segno” association and the parish, as is known, will be broadcast live by Videolina .

Immediately afterwards, Videolina will re-broadcast the Mass celebrated in the parish of Sinnai, allowing those unable to follow it live to listen to the Mass.
