The four gaming machines seized in a commercial establishment in Olbia by the officials of the Monopolies office for Sardinia were illegal, as they were not connected to the telematic network of the Customs and Monopolies Agency.

A panel had been attached to the devices which hid a second game card not connected to the computer network and made it possible to collect bets in total evasion of the single tax levy to be paid to the State.

An administrative fine of 40 thousand euros was paid to the operator and the manager, in addition to the confiscation of the illegal devices and around two thousand euros of bets.
