Thousands of kids leaving for northern Sardinia for one of the most awaited events of the island summer: the Red Valley Festival.

Cars are present on the streets from early in the morning, there is no parking in the motorway restaurants and the round-trip trains to Olbia are sold out.

Many young people will stay all four days, others will sleep in the car and still others will take the train back at 6 in the morning the following day. Last year there were almost 25,000 young people in the evening, for a total of about 100,000 people. This year three days are already sold out, those of 12, 13 and 14 August, which will see artists of all genres perform, including the American band Black Eyed Peas.
