This is the sentence pronounced at the Tempio court against a construction contractor of Albanian origin, but resident in Olbia , who ended up under accusation in 2019 for sexual violence and mistreatment towards his wife , even in front of the couple's minor children.
The 41-year-old man was investigated after accusations made by neighbors and friends of his wife, while the latter had always denied the abuse and beatings.
The 41-year-old also spent a year and a half in Bancali prison for the affair.
Now the sentence, which cleared the man, while the prosecutor had requested a 6-year sentence.
The harangue of the two lawyers who assisted him, Giampaolo Murrighile and Nicola Di Benedetto , was decisive in convincing the judge , who with a 5-hour speech demonstrated the groundlessness of the accusations.
Furthermore, during the trial, two of the woman's friends, called to testify, downplayed the accusations made at the time of the alleged events, issuing statements different from the initial ones. A partial retraction, which landed them a complaint.
