It was the nose of the drug dogs Joy, Betty and Semia to discover a kilo of marijuana hidden inside the roller shutter box, inside the home of a forty-year-old Moroccan, who has lived in Olbia for 20 years.

The suspicions of the soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza group had focused on him during the monitoring activity on an alleged drug dealing activity in the area of the Fausto Noce park.

Investigators had noticed a continuous coming and going of young people in front of his home . In recent days they decided to carry out a house search: the reaction of the dogs, already at the entrance, had fueled the suspicions. Then their nose led them to the window overlooking the main street. Here the discovery: there was an envelope with drugs.

At home, the Moroccan also had 2,000 euros in banknotes of different denominations. Unemployed, he was unable to explain where they came from.

Thus the arrest was triggered, validated the next day in court in Tempio, with the imposition of the obligation to sign.
