Olbia, deceived by the victim on age: twenty year old acquitted of sexual assault

A boy from Olbia , in his early twenties, was acquitted with the broadest formula of the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl .
The facts took place in 2019 in Olbia.
During the trial, held in Tempio , it emerged that the alleged victim declared on her Facebook profile that she was 19 years old.
Furthermore, even before meeting the young man, the girl lied about her age. Even for the Prosecutor's Office, the accused was in fact deceived by the teenager and the prosecutor asked for acquittal .
The defender, the criminal lawyer Mario Perticarà, provided the judges with proof of the existence of the girl's Facebook profile.
It also emerged that the relationship was consensual .
Perticarà declared: «For my client it is the end of an ordeal».
