They attempted to rob a tobacconist but the robbery was unsuccessful.
Two young men from Olbia broke in with their faces uncovered and unarmed on Monday evening, shortly before the closing of the Anziani tobacconist in Viale Aldo Moro, and tried to take away some money.
One of the two entered the back of the room and started looking for cash, the other remained outside, acting as a lookout.
An employee of the tobacconist noticed the two boys and managed to block and immobilize one of the two criminals and raise the alarm.
A Carabinieri patrol from the Olbia territorial department immediately arrived on site and took the boy into custody.
The accomplice, however, managed to escape, but the military is already on his trail.
