Summer health assistance for tourists is also underway in Ogliastra. Starting from 26 June the tourist medical guard will be active in the Tortolì headquarters, while in Bari Sardo it will be operational from 3 July.

The opening of the two guard points will guarantee the service in the localities that absorb 90% of the tourist presences in Ogliastra, even if both offices will be available to all tourists staying in the area during the summer period.

As regards the Tortolì office (via Monsignor Virgilio 66) , the service will be active with two doctors available to users from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 20. At the weekend, the service will be ensured by a doctor and will be supplemented by professionals of continuity of care. In Bari Sardo the tourist medical emergency point will be open in the locality of Torre di Barì, where from Monday to Friday there will be a doctor on duty, from 10 to 18.

Also in this case, during the weekend , the services of the tourist medical guard will be supported by those of the continuity of care doctor (please note that the office is located in the inhabited center of the town, in via Grazia Deledda 6).

Furthermore, in the case of Bari Sardo, it is possible that the service could be further implemented starting from the second half of July. Asl Ogliastra recalls that the service provides healthcare assistance to all those who are on holiday or at work in the various seaside resorts of the area during the summer, with the exception of resident citizens, who continue to refer to their own medical doctor general. It should also be noted that all non-residents will have to participate in the cost of accessing healthcare services according to the type of intervention and on the basis of the tariff indicated by the company.
