Ogliastra in the night, with the fire that attacked Monte Trunconi in Gairo. In the same hours the Sarrabus, with a large fire that caused extensive damage between Feraxi and San Priamo. And this morning Capoterra, Quartu, Assemini.

Mistral and fires: a combination that is making it difficult for the regional firefighting machine to function, with the interventions of the Forestas teams, aircraft and firefighters.

In Sarrabus the fire started around 10.30 pm, from San Priamo to arrive in Feraxi. The emergency teams sent from the operations room of the Cagliari fire brigade command lined up to protect some scattered houses and farms in the area. A shed was destroyed. At the moment the situation is declared under control. Like in Capoterra, where a fire in Santa Rosa touched a rest home.

Another fire in a cane thicket broke out between Elmas and Assemini around 9: the flames as they spread touched a house and were about to involve a workshop.
At around 11 a new fire broke out in Villamassargia, reaching the town: Iglesias's team is operating on the spot, which extinguished the flames. The operations to clean up the residual outbreaks are already underway. Intervention is also underway in Quartu, in the Pitz'e Serra area, close to the 554: parked cars and buildings under the threat of fire.

In the morning two large fires broke out in San Giovanni Suergiu, Santadi and Sadali: even the aerial vehicles were at work.
