Nuoro, he shoots himself while handling the rifle: dead at home

Tragedy this evening in via Siena in Nuoro where SB, a retired Civil Engineer, was the victim of an accident.

According to an initial reconstruction, the man, while fiddling with a rifle in the living room of his home, was hit by a shot that wounded him in the chest.

The request for help was immediate from his wife, who was in the house at the time. When the 118 team arrived, the seventy-five-year-old was still alive, but his heart stopped beating shortly after: the wound proved lethal.

The prosecutor on duty Selene Desole also arrived on site. The reconstruction of what happened is entrusted to the State Police, with the intervention of forensics.
