Fear persists. In fourteen municipalities of Sardinia, radioactive waste is a ghost that still hovers among pastures, farms and crops. Uncontaminated countries, where nature has not yet undergone substantial transformations by man. And so, among the 51 sites that are hypothesized at a national level, the contribution that is requested (at least on paper) from Sardinia, affects Oristano and Giara, Marmilla and Trexenta, as well as part of Cagliari.

Eight areas have been identified, who knows why all on the outskirts, all sparsely populated, all sharing a backwardness of the State, not only in terms of services, which does not inspire good feelings . In order: Albagiara, Assolo, Usellus; Mandas, Siurgus Donigala; Segariu, Villamar; Setzu, Tuili, Turri, Ussaramanna; Nurri; Ortacesus; Guasila. Yesterday the so-called scoping phase ended, in which the interested Municipalities and the Regions could make observations regarding the strategic environmental assessment (SEA).

And now? The Government will decide.
