On the occasion of the 2026 New Year's Eve celebrations , the Municipality of Cagliari has planned extraordinary changes to traffic and parking to ensure the safe conduct of the events scheduled between Largo Carlo Felice and the Bastione Santa Croce.
Below are the requirements to be complied with, established by the relevant executive order.
Parking prohibited with forced removal on both sides, from 6:00 PM on December 30, 2025, to 4:00 PM on January 1, 2026, on Via Sassari (section between Piazza Del Carmine and Corso Vittorio Emanuele); Via Mameli (section between Via Sassari and Largo Carlo Felice); Via Angioy; Via Crispi; Largo Carlo Felice; Piazza Yenne; Via Roma, portico side (section between Largo Carlo Felice and Piazza Amendola); Via Sardegna (section between Largo Carlo Felice and Via Napoli); Via Del Mercato Vecchio; Via Sicilia (section between Via Baylle and Via Napoli); Via Dettori; Via Savoia; Piazzetta Savoia; Via Baylle.
Traffic prohibited from 7:00 a.m. on December 31st to 4:00 p.m. on January 1st: Via Sardegna (section between Largo Carlo Felice and Via Napoli); Via Del Mercato Vecchio; Via Sicilia (section between Via Baylle and Via Napoli); Via Dettori; Via Savoia; Piazzetta Savoia; Via Baylle; Via Manno.
Traffic will be prohibited from 7:00 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show, and the streets will be cleaned: Via Sassari (section between Via Mameli and Corso Vittorio Emanuele); Via Mameli (section between Via Sassari and Largo Carlo Felice); Via Angioy; Via Crispi; Piazza Yenne; Corso Vittorio Emanuele (section between Largo Carlo Felice and Via Maddalena).
Traffic prohibited from 2 p.m. on December 31st to 2 a.m. on January 1st: Via Roma, portico side (Largo Carlo Felice - Piazza Amendola section).
Traffic prohibited from 9:00 PM on December 30th to 4:00 PM on January 1st: Largo Carlo Felice, in the direction of travel from Via Roma to Piazza Yenne.
Traffic prohibited from 7 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show and street cleaning: Largo Carlo Felice, in the direction of travel from Piazza Yenne to Via Roma.
Left turn is mandatory on Via Azuni at the intersection with Via Santa Margherita from 7:00 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show and the street cleaning.
Traffic will be reversed by the Local Police on Via Sassari (Via Mameli - Piazza Del Carmine section), with traffic flowing from Via Mameli to Piazza Del Carmine, from 7 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show and street cleaning.
Please turn right on Via Mameli at the intersection with Via Sassari from 7:00 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show and street cleaning.
Mandatory right turn on Via Malta, at the intersection with Via Sassari, from 7:00 a.m. on December 31st until the end of the show and street cleaning.
Parking prohibited with forced removal on both sides, from 6 p.m. on December 30th to 4 p.m. on January 1st in Via Santa Croce.
Traffic will be prohibited from 4:00 PM on December 31st until the end of the show, and the street in Via Santa Croce will be cleaned.
Proceed straight ahead on Via Dei Genovesi at the intersection with Via Santa Croce from 4:00 PM on December 31st until the end of the show and the street cleaning.
No-entry traffic on Via Dei Genovesi, at the intersection with Via Porcell, from 4:00 PM on December 31st until the end of the show and street cleaning.
Parking is prohibited with forced removal on both sides of Via De Candia from 6:00 PM on December 30th to 6:00 AM on January 1st. Driving is also prohibited on Via De Candia from 4:00 PM on December 31st to 6:00 AM on January 1st.
Mandatory right turn on Via La Marmora, at the intersection with Via Dei Genovesi, from 4 p.m. on December 31st to 6 a.m. on January 1st.
Mandatory straight on Via Bastione Santa Caterina, at the intersection with Via Dei Genovesi, from 4 p.m. on December 31st to 6 a.m. on January 1st.
Citizens – the Municipality reminds us – «are invited to plan their travel in advance and to favour public transport or sustainable mobility».
