The mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda shares the action plan in the Sant'Elia neighborhood , with "diversified interventions that involve all segments of the population".

The plan includes " urban regeneration and redevelopment works; social interventions and widespread innovation processes in the fields of culture, sport, inclusion, social cohesion, and free time ; the job placement of disadvantaged people; the arrangement of the sewer system and all outdoor spaces; the completion of the Anelli park; the passage of the light metro; the construction of large sports facilities (sports hall and new stadium); the creation of the Casa della Salute and the Neighborhood Center; the improvement of the Diga beach; the completion of the small-scale fishing harbor."

"Listening, participation and planning are the method of governance of the administration - writes the mayor -. In the coming years the development plan of the city will be articulated in a broad and comprehensive way in each district of Cagliari, based on the characteristics and needs, with the intent of improving the existing and introducing new elements ".
