New cyclone arriving in Italy: yellow alert in Sardinia
Alarm from the regional civil protection. Rough seas and thunderstorms are expected in almost all of the island

The arrival on Italy of a new cyclone coming from North Africa makes the weather alarm bell ring in Sardinia as well.
The regional civil protection has issued a yellow alert notice which will also last throughout the day on Sunday.
On the island, in addition to the very rough sea, rains are expected, «of a downpour or thunderstorm character» , in particular on Iglesiente, Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Tirso and Logudoro. And, again, on Campidano, Flumendosa Flumineddu and Gallura.
Even Monday will be characterized by bad weather, while in the following days, according to Arpas forecasts, "irregularly cloudy skies are expected".
