Ten days have passed since the brutal murder of Giovanni Musu, which shocked the community of Carbonia.
Today, there is great anticipation for the outcome of the unique technical tests being conducted by the Carabinieri Forensic Investigations Unit in Cagliari. The clothing and other belongings of the two suspects in the murder, William Serra and Marco Atzeni, both from Carbonia and both acquaintances of the victim, will be analyzed.
Musu's body was found at the entrance to the Rosmarino pine forest, the large park in the heart of the mining town. He was stabbed to death nine times, and then the killer attempted to burn his body away, having also burned his documents. The intent was likely to make him unrecognizable, but the alarm had been raised earlier.
