Cesare Tiberio Farris , 59, and his son Stefano , 29, remain in prison .

This is the measure ordered by the investigating judge of the Court of Cagliari, Giuseppe Pintori , after the validation hearing that was held this morning in prison in Uta, where the two breeders, accused of the voluntary murder of Massimo Deidda , have been locked up since Monday. 63-year-old farmer found dead Monday evening in Gergei .

Before the judge, the Farris, defended by lawyers Valerio Doa and Giovanni Aste , made use of the right not to answer .

The investigating magistrate thus accepted the requests of the prosecutor Alessandro Pili, arranging pre-trial detention for both of them , waiting for the laboratory tests performed during the autopsy and those on the gun found by Cesare Tiberio Farris to be delivered.

The man allegedly told the investigators that Deidda would be holding the weapon and that, therefore, the attack that resulted in murder - which took place with sticks - would have been self -defense . The man would also have tried to exonerate his son from any responsibility.

The first results of the autopsy showed that the victim was hit with six or seven blows to the head , some of which fatal because they fractured the skull causing a massive cerebral hemorrhage.

As for the motive, it investigates old grudges among families , who have neighboring lands, linked to the grazing of cattle.
