An accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the Baunei countryside. A man, while doing housework, sustained a serious injury to his knee while using a chainsaw.

The alarm was raised immediately and help was sent from the 118 operations centre in Sassari.

Echo Lima 1 of the Areus aircraft, which had taken off from the Olbia base, landed on site, where an ambulance crew intervened.
