An immense crowd applauded this morning at the parade of the fiftieth edition of the Muravera Citrus Fruit Festival.

An elegant and colorful event along Via Roma. A parade opened as always by the Giuseppe Verdi musical band which saw the participation of 32 folk groups, 15 pairs, four traditional masks, players and ten ethnotraccas.

It is precisely the etnotraccas, the carts pulled by tractors with an animated reconstruction of life in the past on them, that are the true protagonists of Sa Festa. In short, a record-breaking festival, the most crowded of all time (also thanks to a splendid sunny day).

For Muravera - the town of oranges and colorful floats as described in Tonio Anedda's song - the inauguration of the tourist season is one of those with a bang.
