Intervention by the Tempio Pausania firefighters to rescue two people, a mother and daughter, who got lost in the countryside of Calangianus.
The two were busy looking for mushrooms, but they lost their bearings. Once they realized they were unable to find their way back, they alerted 112.
The rescue operations were thus launched: in addition to the Tempio team, the 115 Canine Units of Northern Sardinia and also the helicopter of the Alghero-Fertilia Unit were activated.
After about an hour of searching, the dogs located the two women, in good condition, who were then accompanied to safety by the Fire Brigade, to then be entrusted to the checks by the 118 medical personnel.
