More landings on the Sardinian coasts: 55 migrants arrived in a few hours

In the night between 1 and 2 January, a total of 55 migrants landed along the coasts of southern Sardinia. Five overall arrivals of which the latest in order of time was registered in the late evening yesterday in the area of Monte Cogoni in Domus de Maria where 12 men and a woman were taken over by the police and carabinieri and transferred to the center of first reception of Monastir for quarantine.

The other landings date back to the morning of 1 on the beach of Porto Pino , in the Municipality of Sant'Anna Arresi, and in Sant'Antioco. A small boat was instead blocked by a patrol boat of the Guardia di Finanza.
