More flames in Sardinia. There are 12 fires recorded today in the regional territory , with three fires that required the intervention of the regional fleet's aircraft .

Fear in the municipality of Santa Giusta , in the Pauli figu area, where the flames also touched the railway . The movement of trains was interrupted and then resumed , but suffered delays of up to an hour for the entire day. The firefighters, the Forestry Corps, Forestas staff and volunteers are working on site. Also in flight was the Super Puma helicopter of the regional fleet , which took off from the Fenosu base and dropped water bombs on the area.

Flames also spread in the countryside of the Municipality of Ovodda , Govolo , in the Nuoro area, with the extinguishing of the fire coordinated by the staff of the Tonara Forestry Corps Station. The helicopter that took off from the Sorgono base was also at work in this case, with the flames put out after 6.30pm.

Aircraft also intervened in the forest fire in the municipality of Olbia, in the Punta lu Casteddu area . The Super Puma helicopter which took off from the Alà dei Sardi base is still working on the firefighting operations, coordinated by the staff of the Padru Forestry Corps Station. Also present were two teams from the Forestas Agency from the Olbia and Loiri Porto S. Paolo shipyards, a team from the barracelli from Loiri Porto S. Paolo, a team of volunteers from Olbia, and a team from the Olbia Fire Brigade. The firefighting operations are still underway.

In the morning , the cleanup operations of the forest fire that broke out in the countryside of the municipality of Calangianus, in the Riu lu Fungone area, also continued . Also at work in this case are the forestry corps and the Forestas agency, the Super Puma taking off from the Fenosu base is in flight.

And for tomorrow the fire alert remains high in the Cagliari area , where the bulletin issued by the regional Civil Protection speaks of an "orange" danger level , and therefore with the risk of rapidly spreading fires .
