Monserrato, firefighters save a kitten stuck in an underground pipe

A little (but good) news comes from the Viale Marconi fire brigade command.

Yesterday morning a team intervened in Monserrato to rescue a kitten that had slipped into the water drainage pipes of a private home.
After the request for help, the operators who arrived on site immediately located the point of the pipeline where the small animal had been trapped: after opening a small gap the firefighters managed to recover it safe and sound.

There is a further aspect of the happy ending: despite the confusion, the mother cat waited nearby until the end of the rescue operations. And the firefighters gave her the baby back.
