Only the timely intervention of the firefighters prevented the fire that broke out on the roof of the church of the Santissimo Redentore, in Monserrato , from causing extensive damage.

The alarm went off around 1pm and, according to what we learn, the flames are linked to an ongoing waterproofing project.

Teams from the Viale Marconi Command operated on site with a fire engine, a tanker and the aid of a ladder truck, for a total of three vehicles and nine operators, who put out the flames and made the area and the structure safe. No one is involved.
