The 41-year-old motorcyclist from Monserrato who was the victim of the accident around 2 pm on Via Fulgenzio at the junction with the 554 near the Emanuela Loi Bridge was admitted to Brotzu Hospital with several fractures to his legs, arms, and pelvis.

A horrific crash: the motorcyclist was driving his Honda when he collided with an Opel Corsa. After the impact, he was thrown over the guard rail, while the motorcycle remained on the roadway. The driver, a 24-year-old, was uninjured but taken to the hospital for checks.

Local police officers from Monserrato, led by Captain Mauro Soru, arrived on the scene: they worked for several hours to reconstruct the dynamics of the collision and establish any responsibilities.
