A 24-year-old girl from Sassari was molested by a stranger at the end of the celebrations for the Summer Carnival, the parade of allegorical floats which crowded the city of Porto Torres on Saturday night.

The episode apparently occurred in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in front of a kebab shop, around 3.45 am, when the young woman was in the company of some friends.

«The individual in question was approximately 1.80 m tall, physically well-built, with a gray shirt and short trousers, short light brown hair, with obvious signs of a receding hairline and a long face»: this is how the 24-year-old describes the alleged molester .

«He was in a dark gray Mercedes or Audi», continues the young woman, «which he parked in front of me and my friends before coming to touch my hair. After shouting at him that he shouldn't allow himself to touch me, he approached me again and groped my breast."

The girl says that the scene of the reaction to the violence was filmed on the mobile phone by the friend of the alleged perpetrator of the harassment, "a man about 1.70m tall, with short dark hair and olive skin".

The victim reported the episode of violence to the police.
