The number of Sardinian restaurants included in the next edition of the Michelin Italy guide rises to eight .

The latest in chronological order, reported in September, are both in the north: the Sa Mandra farmhouse in Alghero and the Osteria de' Mercati in Sassari. They are added to the addresses already indicated at the beginning of the year: Al Veda in Aglientu (Sassari); Musciora of Alghero; The Saletta of Alghero; ChiaroScuro of Cagliari; From Marino to St Remy in Cagliari; Old Friend from Cagliari.

These are restaurants that are added to the Italian selection every month after passing the "table test" by the inspectors .

The eight restaurants are present on the site and on the app. The province of Sassari dominates with five new entries, then Cagliari with three. We have to wait until November, with the presentation of the new Michelin Italia guide, to understand if they will be able to win the recognition - Stella, Stella Verde, Bib Gourmand - or if they will only be reported.

Meanwhile, there are six starred restaurants on the island : Dal Corsaro in Cagliari with chef Stefano Deidda, who won it for seven years in a row, Confusion for five consecutive years, on the promenade of Porto Cervo with chef Italo Bassi, for two years Somu of Arzachena in Baja Sardinia, with chef Salvatore Camedda, Gusto By Sadler of San Teodoro with chef Claudio Sadler and Fradis Minoris, Laguna di Nora, in Pula, with chef Francesco Stara who also obtained the Green Star for sustainability and last year's new entry Fuoco Sacro, in San Pantaleo in Gallura where Luigi Bergeretto is in the kitchen.
