A financial intervention of 2.7 billion for Sardinia . This is what the agreement for development and cohesion foresees, which will be signed tomorrow, November 28, at 11 in Cagliari .
At Palazzo Regio , and not at Villa Devoto, the first location chosen, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will meet Alessandra Todde. Also present will be Raffaele Fitto , Executive Vice President of the EU Commission for Cohesion and Reforms and Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies and the PNRR.
The institutional meeting is scheduled for 11.
This allocation of 2.7 billion for the Island will be announced, money that comes from the "Fund for Development and Cohesion" which is financed with national resources.
How will they be used? The same cohesion agreement that will be signed tomorrow will define the objectives and interventions to be implemented. "The Region - explained President Alessandra Todde - has defined a program of interventions focused on five fundamental priorities for Sardinia: water, public housing, roads, health, school . This important funding represents a unique opportunity for our island to promote economic, social and territorial development, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of the Sardinians".
