Eight fires in a few hours in Sardinia. Super-work for the emergency teams

Another day marked by emergencies, that of Thursday 14 July, for the fire fighting teams of Sardinia.
Eight fires broke out on the island in a few hours .
The most challenging front in the Villasor countryside , in Pranu S. Luxeria, where the intervention of a Canadair , a twin engine HH 139 of the Italian Air Force, and five helicopters to try to put out the flames was necessary.
On the ground, the teams of the Forestas Agency of the Villacidro construction site, the teams of the Serramanna Barracellar Company, the teams of the Sanluri Fire Brigade and three teams of volunteers from the associations of Monastir, Assemini and San Gavino intervened. The fire covered an area of about 140 hectares of eucalyptus, uncultivated, pastures and some rows of olive trees .
Harsh fight against fire also in Oschiri, in Gallura , where the flames attacked the woods on the slopes of Monte Limbara , also involving two Canadair and the SuperPuma.
