The carabinieri of the Quartu company and the provincial command of Cagliari found him in the countryside of Solanas, in Santa Barbara, barricaded in his Citroen under an overpass. At the sight of the military he injured himself with a knife, perhaps the same one used for the crime, before being blocked. Now he is hospitalized in Brotzu, on guard duty and in a state of police custody on charges of murder.
