The alarm went off yesterday afternoon. It was his brother who had turned to the police, who had presented himself at the village carabinieri barracks: he had said that the farmer had been missing from home since the previous morning.
Immediate mobilization. The body was found late in the evening by military personnel and firefighters along the route between the company and the house, in the locality of Sa Massa Manna.
It was in a canal, by the roadside. Beside, the vehicle of which, perhaps, he had lost control.
The coroner on duty, who intervened on the spot, found a head injury which was fatal and which is compatible with the accident. The farmer's body was returned to the family.
