Fifteen days with a ban on the use of water. Residents of the Alghero village of Maristella are protesting the prolonged inconvenience due to the presence of pollutants and bacteria in the water of their taps.

The leader of the Democratic Party, Mimmo Pirisi, asked the Administration to resolve the problem very quickly, urging Abbanoa to intervene. «The coming and going of the tanker in the square certainly cannot make up for the problem – says Pirisi – furthermore in these days of bad weather the situation becomes more and more dramatic. We ask ourselves: if this situation had happened in the city would we have been in this state for 15 days? Today, more than yesterday, we believe that every resident citizen should be treated in the same way and should be guaranteed the same services regardless of whether they live in the city or in the suburbs."
