There are five people under investigation in the Sardinian branch of a maxi investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Offices of Tempio, Varese, Nuoro and Imperia for alleged marijuana trafficking from Olbia to Lombardy.
The deputy prosecutor of Tempio, Andrea Schirra, signed the notice of concluded investigations for those allegedly responsible for some episodes that occurred in Olbia, Malnate, Vedano Olona and Gaggiolo di Cantello. Among the facts indicated in the indictment, in addition to individual drug sales, there is the transport and handling in Lombardy of 150 kilos of marijuana, Cannabis exported from Sardinia.
Two suspects live in Olbia, they are Francesco "Frank" Monni, 61 years old, from Orune, and Tiziano Vestina, 63 years old, from Mantua. For the latter there is also the accusation of having unduly received citizenship income.
