Cagliari Hardcore Fest returns with ten bands for its fourth edition.

An annual event for the island's hardcore and related community, and a chance to connect with the scene beyond Sardinia: the Cagliari Hardcore Fest returns in 2026, organized by the eponymous collective from the capital and now in its fourth edition . The event will take place at Campidarte in Ussana , where from 5 pm onwards, ten bands will alternate on the two stages , including the British Your Demise as headliners.

For the second consecutive year, the Ussanese cultural farm hosts the flagship event of the Cagliari Hardcore crew, which debuted in 2023 at the Cueva Rock in Quartucciu and has since carved out its own space as a community and inclusive moment, without stopping at the purism of genres but bringing together multiple musical realities .

Headlining the bill are international guests Your Demise , formed in 2004 in St. Albans and quickly becoming a celebrated name in European hardcore punk , thanks to their fusion of aggressive sound with punk, metal and rock 'n' roll influences. Thanks to classics like " Ignorance Never Dies " and " The Golden Age ", they shared the stage with bands of the calibre of Comeback Kid , Parkway Drive , Enter Shikari and Bring Me the Horizon , before officially disbanding in 2014. But a decade later, long-time singer George Noble has chosen to re-enlist his former bandmates, returning to full activity to celebrate their twentieth anniversary .

Meanwhile, from the peninsula come Infall , a quartet active for over ten years and originally from the shores of Lake Maggiore, followers of a chaotic yet precise metalcore in the spirit of groups like Botch , Drowningman and Breach , with their latest album " Far " (2022) which made them noticed well beyond the borders of the Belpaese, thanks also to the mixing work done by Kurt Ballou of Converge .

But the heart of the lineup is, as in every edition, the strictly island side: it ranges from the traditional hardcore of Cagliari's Lastbreath to the melodic and metal-tinged approach of Regrowth , without forgetting Iglesias' Quercia and their acclaimed blend of emo, post-hardcore and Midwest emo, finally arriving at the young project Il Seme dell'Odio . Born from the ashes of Waiting for Betters Days, the band released their first extended play " Finché resta luce " on September 9th, featuring five songs full of old-school punk-core that already thrilled Bari Hardcore last September 18th. Closing the circle are the Genoese punk-rockers Cocks , the eclectic hardcore of Pescara's 217 , the Roman Salvation with their nostalgic metalcore and finally the very young Cagliari-based Dead Sugar Glider .
