One man beats his wife, another violates a restraining order: two arrests in the Cagliari area.

Two arrests by the Carabinieri in the space of a few hours for domestic abuse and violence.

A 66-year-old man from the province of Cagliari who beat his wife during an argument was arrested. When officers from the Quartu Company arrived, the woman was clearly injured.

Shortly before, the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Mobile Radio Section, together with their colleagues from the Stampace Station, also arrested a 47-year-old unemployed man, already known to the police, for violating the provisions of the precautionary measures to which he was subjected.
In this case, too, the victim was the wife, who called the Carabinieri: the man was caught inside the property in clear violation of the orders to stay away from the family home and the ban on approaching places frequented by the victim, both of which had been issued against him for previous episodes of abuse.
The two men were stopped by the soldiers and taken to the barracks.
