A 35-year-old Algerian man was arrested in Olbia on charges of resisting arrest and threatening a public official.

According to the report sent to the Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office, the protagonist of the episode did not appreciate the presence of the female police officers from the crew of a patrol car from the police station.

The man, during a police patrol and prevention operation, flew into a rage upon seeing the female officers: "You don't represent anything to me." The officers were repeatedly insulted because they were women, and the man refused to provide his personal details.

Police officers arrested him and transferred him to a holding cell. At the request of prosecutor Gianmarco Vargiu, the police order was validated.
