Marijuana plantation in Settimo San Pietro: two arrests
45 plants up to one and a half meters tall were seized
They were surprised by the carabinieri as they watered the marijuana plants. A 35 year old and a 34 year old were arrested by the carabinieri in Settimo San Pietro. The two are under house arrest on suspicion of cultivation for the purpose of selling marijuana.

The operation started last night around 10 pm, in a piece of land near via Montessori. The Arma soldiers saw the two sneak into a reed bed, where they started watering the plants. They were blocked and the plantation seized. The two are now under house arrest.
The first checks on the quantity of active principle present in the inflorescences of the plants have shown a quantity “widely higher” than that allowed by law. The plantation was also totally unknown to the authorities.
